Next time you stay at a hotel check out those nifty dishwashers they have on the housekeeping carts. Haven't seen one? I've never seen one either - because they don't exist. You'd be shocked to know that many times those bathroom glasses are washed in the bathroom sink with hand soap. (Probably dried with the same cloth used to wipe the counters!) Here at the Joshua Grindle we have a system for everything. Glass ware is brought to the the dish sink in the laundry where they are washed, sanitized and air dried. Sure, it's an extra few steps, but dishes should never be washed in the bathroom (well, except in college dormitories). Next time you stay at an inn or hotel, ask your innkeeper how the housekeepers clean the glasses (if they even know.)
