On Sunday, September 13th, The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens will be holding their second annual fund raising concert, "Live at the Garden". This year 'The Joe Ely Band" will be performing at 2:00 pm under the big tent on the Event Lawn at the Garden.

The Joe Ely Band recorded their first album in 1977 and have produced more than 20 albums since that time. This Texas based band plays country rock, rhythm-and-blues, honky-tonk, rockabilly, and tex-mex all blended seamlessly together. Joe Ely frequently plays with Lyle Lovett and his other band, the Flatlanders, just recently played on the David Letterman Show.
